/RIGID CONDUIT
IMC is short for Intermediate Metal Conduit , It isa rigid steel electrical conduit lighter than another rigid conduit. It is designed to protect cables. It does the work of a similar conduit, galvanized conduit (GRC), but with much less weight and thickness size. By using IMC in areas allowed, but eliminae the need for a heavier wall conduit.
IMC has other advantage over GRC. It has a large interior diameter than Galvanized Rigid Conduit and the smoother interrior of the pipe allows for easier wire pulling.
IMC is introduced by TOPELE , manufacturing in accordance with standard ANSI C.80.6. It is actually more rigid than GRC in using. Our IMC conduit is been used in industrial and commercial buildings.
